I have lots of energy, ambition, and diversity in my lifestyle. I like to crank up the stereo and share wine while cooking up something original; find small towns, explore the local shops, and ride bikes down forgotten roads; grab some good coffee and catch the latest independent film; try new restaurants and go dancing until they turn the lights on to kick us out. I excercise regularly by running everyday and swim when I can. Music is an enormous part of my life and I appreciate a wide range of musical styles. I have been a musician since the age of five and have been in a few successful bands in Austin over the last 10 years. I am currently writing a book about the evolution of drumming and still play a few shows when good ones are offered. I would love to meet someone who can appreciate my interests but who also has her own to share. I am attracted to strong, independent women who are open-minded and have great wit. Who are your favorite authors and why? e e cummings poetry – very creative word play and usually poignant if not subtly salacious. I like Nick Hornby who wrote 'High Fidelity' among others and all of David Sedaris' stuff but I mostly read non-fiction or history.
