I'm pretty new to Austin so I figured it would be cool to get to know more people.
I'm currently going to school at ACC. I moved here to get my degree in journalism. Things I enjoy doing are playing the guitar/bass, reading, writing, watching really random obscure stuff on netflix, playing with bubbles or getting in water gun fights with friends, board game nights, going to concerts,...just being around like minded weirdos is fun. I enjoy watching movies. I enjoy watching a lot of foreign and indie films. I'll watch pretty much anything. Even terrible movies are fun to watch to make fun of. My favorite movies are David Lynch and Fellini films. I listen to A LOT of music. Most people would say that I am music obsessed. I tend to listen to a lot of post punk/darkwave/shoegaze/dream pop/and psychedelic kinda music. I'll listen to pretty much almost anything. Some of my favorite bands include : My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, The Velvet Underground, PJ Harvey, Bat for Lashes, Swans, Loop, Adult., Joy Division, A Place to Bury Strangers, Primal Scream, The Warlocks, School of Seven Bells, Lydia Lunch, The Kills, Resplandor, Ours, Brian Eno, Serena Maneesh, The Black Angels, Nine Inch Nails, Throbbing Gristle, Dead Can Dance, Spacemen 3, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Curve, Suicide, Wire, The Cure, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Fever Ray, Jeff Buckley, Mazzy Star, M83, The Shangri-Las, The Raveonettes, and lots more stuff. Bret Easton Ellis is one of my favorite authors. I just find his books interesting. I also enjoy books from Kurt Vonnegut. What is your most prized possession? my guitar Quote a line from your favorite movie. anything from arrested development. I know that isn't a movie but I love that show.
